I try to minimize my environmental impact with my choice of paper, printing process, and cleaning supplies. Here is an itemized list of my efforts, but I welcome any additional advice, or questions!

• WHITE PAPER: {#110 Cotton Crane Lettra}  Crane makes luxury cotton based paper, using no wood pulp in their process.  All Crane paper is 100% re-purposed and re-used, and has an ideal texture for letterpress.  You can read more about their process and commitment to the environment HERE.
• COLORED PAPER: {#100 Cardstock French Paper}  French is a small family business that has been running on hydroelectricity since 1922.  They have some amazing colored papers that are made from 100% recycled materials.  You can read more about their process and commitment to the environment HERE.
• PRINTING PRESS: I print using a GOLDING PEARL #11.  This press is hand run and a fierce piece of machinery!  Interested in learning more about the printing process?  Take a look at this website for some great animations and explanations of the terms and printing PROCESS.  Love the website? • CLEANING: Letterpress can be quite messy!  I use Mineral Spirits and vegetable oil to stay green.
