Here are some snapshots of the first print from my Pearl. She did so great and you’ll probably enjoy these pictures a little more than the roller issue! He he he

Long time no chat! So much has happened over this past month to update you on. The most exciting is that Pearl is officially up and running and printing up a storm! It has been extremely frustrating over the past 4 months to resolve the roller issue and finally I figured it out with the help of the letterpress community. You can see from the pictures that the second and third roller was touching, pushing all three out of alignment. The bottom roller would jump as they rolled up the track. Turns out the roller hooks were in the press backwards, affecting the spacing between the rollers. I cried I was so excited when this was finally resolved! Her inaugural run included a 1500 invitation set and the prints came out perfect! In the end I am so happy with my press and know we were MFEO! (Made For Each Other a la Sleepless in Seattle!)
Enjoy some pics and a video of the problem issues from the past few months.

Reclaimed Wood Frames
Image

Just hit my etsy shop! Oh man these are so cute! Each frame is hand made by yours truly with love using reclaimed wood. They measure between 3.5″x2.5″ on average and house a tiny hand printed letterpress hat. Look great on the shelf or hung in a tiny spot on the wall!
